Top 5 Communication Apps on Android in Bahrain Q4 2023

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2023, the top communication apps on Android in Bahrain showcased varying trends in downloads and revenue.

WhatsApp Business experienced a decline in weekly downloads starting from 3.5K in late September to around 1.7K in early December. However, it saw a slight recovery in the last two weeks of December, peaking at approximately 2.2K.

WhatsApp Messenger also saw a similar trend. The app’s weekly downloads began at 3.4K in late September, dipping to about 1.5K in early November, and then rising again to 2.9K by the end of December.

Telegram maintained a steady performance in weekly revenue, starting at $84 and fluctuating slightly to end at $89 in late December. Weekly downloads for Telegram decreased from 3K in late September to around 1.3K in late November, but saw an uptick to 1.8K in mid-December.

Snapchat showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, beginning at $330 in late September and reaching $570 by mid-November, before stabilizing around $500 towards the end of December. Weekly downloads started at 2.8K in late September, dipped to around 1.4K in early November, and then increased to 2K by the end of December.

imo-International Calls & Chat had the highest revenue among the apps, starting at $1.2K in late September, peaking at $2.1K in late October, and ending at $1.3K by the end of December. Weekly downloads saw a similar pattern, starting at 2.2K in late September, dipping to around 1K in early November, and rising again to 1.7K by mid-December.
